Good camera angles, no circles around creatures (Red/Green etc), everyone saluting Dathran as he goes by. A few ideas. If you have formations and you're marching, make sure everyone stays in line. Make it look interesting. To give a short movie idea of mine, read the next little bit.
The movie would start with a high up guild member (Most likely Dathran) being viewed from the ground. Behind Dathran would be the sun in the sky, so it would have to be shot in the morning when the sun is rising. He would then walk forward, off screen or not I don't know. In other words, he looks just like the guy at the start of this -

We need a song which starts out noble (A short one, as you wouldn't want the video to drag on) which then turns dark sudenly around half way through. If you -do- have to inculde words, try to smooth them in, so as not to break up the movie clips. Fading is good for this, or flashes of light
Don't use a complicated font unless it's easy to read. Put text in small amounts, so you don't have to pause the vid to read it all (I hate having to do that!)
Anyway, after Dath walks forward, the camera would either slide / Instantly cut to another place, where it shows him walking past other Scarlets. Each in term would salute as he walks past... Wow, that's also in the vid
You'd have 2 rows (1 behind the other) and each pair would salute when he passes. Come to think of it, getting a pair of people to salute at the same time is hard, let alone getting 20-30 pairs to do it perfectly... It could take a lot of shots to get that bit perfect
Past that, I don't know, but to me, that's an epic intro
