This is just somthing I thought.
I remember Dath saying somthing about Tyr's hand in EPL representing Tyr's hand between the jaws of the wolf in Norse Mythology. Well, Avalon (As in New Avalon) Was an island in English Mythology, home to imortal beings, an "Isle of the Blessed", Ironic, that New Avalon was overrun by Scourge?

Anyway, this proves one thing to me. Blizzard like the Scarlet crusade, as they put awesome out-of-game references into our places!
