| OK, so I heard a couple days ago from Levis (Methinks) about how he and several other guildies play Baldur's Gate. He mentioned it beign possible to play online together if you search someone's IP adress, so I thought I'd make a post about it and learn a lil' bit more First off - Doesn't your IP adress constantly change? And if so, how would you keep tracking someone down for games with it? Secondly - How many of you play Baldur's gate and want to play it online sometime soon, or have done so already? Finaly - If yes, what are your IP adresses? Oh, and how on earth do I find mine out so can join the fun? Cheers! -Felanar PS: You can talk about baldur's gate in general if you'd like, consider this our BG thread | |

| Well, to summ it up (Without having spoilers)... You (The antagonist) has lived in a grand library / keep since birth with your foster-father, Gorion. Only the rich, the wise and the guys who have rare books are accepted into Candlekeep, and there are strict laws. Violence is payed for in blood - Any rough housing and you're signing your own death penalty... You live with a friend, Imoen, who arrived at Candlekeepa round when you did... Alas, the good life isn't to last... One day, while filling out your chores (Which involve, fetching swords for sleepy guards, giving cows cures to illnesses and fetching books for some of the keeps residents, some new showers asault you in the rest houses... You cut them down and escape, and are advised to leave... Gorion, your foster father, escorts you away from Candlekeep, telling you it's no longer safe. He says "If we ever get seperated, head to the Friendly Arm Inn." He mentions having some friends there... It isn't explained so early why two people who had managed to get into Candlekeep would risk everything to kill you... As the game unfolds, you find out why. It's a great game, a D&D style game, or so people say... i just like having bulky armour, big weaponsa nd flashy spells to etar into my enemies with > | |

| Sounds good! I'll look into it, once I've finished Elder scrolls 4: Oblivion. | |
